The living room in the Mauve apartment – Berlin hotel HOMAGE Boutique Apartments

Feel like a ‘Berliner’ at your own personal apartment in the heart of Berlin. Located in the historic centre of Berlin’s Mitte district, HOMAGE Boutique Apartments blends style and comfort in a neighbourhood filled with café’s, boutiques, bistros and bars.

After several weeks of non-stop travel across Poland it was time for a rest. Wanting more than just an alternative to a hotel or hostel during my stay in Berlin, I decided I needed somewhere I could really relax. At HOMAGE Boutique Apartments, I found the perfect place away from it all, yet close to everything.

Sometimes you just want to feel like you’re home. After sitting back on the couch in my exclusive self-serve apartment, furnished in a chic minimalistic style, and loaded with every amenity, there wasn’t much more I could ask for.

Waking up and making my own breakfast, running a load of laundry, and having a space to just hang out was fantastic. The neighbourhood is great for exploring and close to everything. I especially loved how close it was to public transportation, and how awesome the friendly staff was in organizing my arrival.

Location

Located only minutes away from the must see sights of Berlin’s museum district, and just a short train ride from the trendy party districts of Fredrichshain – Kreuzberg, if you’re like me, you won’t be resting for too long.

The underground stations of Senefelder Plaz and Rosenthaler Platz are only a five minute walk from the apartments, and will get you to Alexanderplaz Square in minutes.

The best part about this place is stepping outside the centurion building’s 12 foot wooden doors to the trendy and sophisticated Mitte neighborhood.

Not to worry, you won’t be breaking the bank eating there. The eclectic mix of boutique shops, bars, bistros, and trendy restaurants, that feature foods from around the world, will surely arouse the explorer in you.

I’d recommend checking out Donath, it’s an amazing Italian restaurant on Schonhauser Allee. Definitely get the house red, then grab a seat on the patio and enjoy. My sister and I loved this place!

What you get

Amenities – Each exclusive self-catered apartment is outfitted in style with all the amenities including kitchenware, washing machine (with dryer), dishwasher, microwave/oven, surround sound with iPod input, flat screen TV (that never turned on because the location had me exploring the city), free Wifi, and some seriously comfortable furniture.

Furniture – Lounge in your king size bed, or use the pull out couch for some friends to crash after a late night in the city. Then eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the table in your personal living room. Since the chic minimalist furniture in every apartment boasts style, if you want to impress someone special, don’t even think twice before booking this place.

Apartment – This isn’t some small European hotel room, it’s an apartment, so there’s more than enough room for you to spend a few days or a month. Hangout in the bedroom, eat and lounge in the living room, cook in the kitchen, and let your hair down in the elegantly designed bathroom. In fact, bring some friends, or the family, because these apartments are designed to accommodate 2-6 people, and there’s more than enough room for everyone.
