Travel Photo| Temple at night Beijing, China

Wandering the streets of Beijing you’re bound to stumble over something special.  Heading home from an evening photography shoot in Jingshan Park I saw this spectacular temple and spent the next half hour looking for the perfect exposure.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have my tripod with me.  That’s when I saw another few people shooting pics of this temple.  Contrary to what some people say, these Chinese people were super friendly.  They lent me their tripod and I was able to capture this image.

I even gave them a mini lesson on what I was doing!  I told them to use a cloudy white balance to get those warm colours.
