Travel Photo| Man at work in Hangzhou, China

Getting lost has its perks.  While exploring Hangzhou, China I stumbled upon the 1911 Revolution Memorial Hall.   In a country full of juxtapositions this monument symbolizing freedom shows a man who’s freedom is restricted by his role in society.

Walking through the AAAA tourist city (a grading given to the top tourist destinations in China) you can’t help but notice the Maserati,  Ferrari, and Porsche dealerships.  While the rich get richer the poor get poorer.

The disparity gap between the rich and the poor is growing at a monumental rate and this symbol of freedom only exemplifies the societal limits to those opportunities.
